Who we are
About Med Spa Club
A private network for people who own independent med spas. Free, by selection, and built to be theirs and not a sales front.
What Med Spa Club is
Med Spa Club is a private network for people who own independent med spas. Membership is free and it is by selection. The public side is a directory of independent med spas across the top US metros. The members' side is where the work happens: peer pricing benchmarks, owner playbooks, compliance briefings written with a health law partner, and member pricing from partners we have vetted.
It is not a vendor, and it is not a lead list dressed up as a club. Chain operators already have a peer group, shared numbers, and people to call when something breaks. Independent owners rarely do. The club exists to give them the same thing.
Why it exists
The four things owners actually worry about
Running an independent med spa is a lonely job with real money on the line. The club is organized around the problems owners tell us keep them up at night.
Money
Injectable margins are squeezed, device payments come due every month, and most owners are guessing whether their prices are right. The pricing benchmark answers that question with real numbers from their own metro.
Patients
Steady patient flow matters more than another discount that trains people to wait for the next one. The playbooks are built around durable demand, not coupons.
Compliance
Medical director arrangements, good faith exams, delegation rules, GLP-1, and shifting state board rules. Most owners suspect they are exposed somewhere and cannot say where. Monthly briefings keep them current.
Isolation
There is no room where independent owners compare notes candidly. The owner roundtables and the member library are meant to be that room.
Built by people who work with med spas
The club was started by people who work with med spas for a living, on the marketing and operations side. That is a strength and a conflict at the same time, so we say it out loud rather than bury it.
One of the marketing partners on the member rate card pays the club a fee. We say so, in plain sight, everywhere it appears. Being close to the industry is what lets us vet a partner properly. Being honest about it is what keeps the club worth belonging to.
How we keep it honest
The rules the club runs on
A free club is only worth joining if the standards behind it are real. These are the ones we hold to.
Selection, not payment
Spas are listed and invited on public quality signals: rating, review history, time in business, and whether they offer medical grade services. Nobody buys their way onto the list. Day spas and nail or lash only shops fall outside the scope, and chain locations can be listed but cannot hold Founding Member status.
Verification is the velvet rope
Member access unlocks only after an owner proves they own the business, by a code sent to an address on the spa's domain, a code to the business phone, or a document review. No verification, no member benefits.
Founding seats are capped and counted live
Founding Member seats are limited per metro. The counter on each metro page reads from our database, so the number shown is the number actually left. We never write a seat count into the copy by hand.
The numbers are straight
When we publish a figure it has a dated source on file. The pricing benchmark reports medians and ranges only, never a single identified spa, and only once enough spas in a metro have reported to make the number meaningful.
The partner promise
Partners give members real pricing, at least fifteen percent below their standard rate, documented and dated. Some partners pay the club a fee or commission. That is how a free membership stays free. We keep it clean with one rule, printed on the Partners page and in the footer:
"Med Spa Club is supported by our partners. Partners provide member only pricing, and some pay us a fee or commission. That never affects which spas we list or how we rank them. We only list partners we would use ourselves."
There is also a line we do not cross. We never hand a member's contact details to a partner. Members raise their hand when they want to talk to one, and only then.
Plainly
What the club is not
It is not a vendor with a club page bolted on, and it is not a lead list wearing a badge.
There are no sales calls dressed up as free consultations, and nothing you have to claim before a timer runs out. Your listing stays up whether or not you ever claim it, and claiming it is free.
The point is simple. Owners have to believe the club is theirs. Every decision we make is weighed against that.
If any of that ever stops being true, tell us. We would rather hear it than lose your trust quietly.
Common questions
- Is membership really free?
- Yes. There is no fee to be listed, to verify, or to use the member library and the benchmark. Partners fund the club, which we disclose on the Partners page. A paid tier may come later for owners who want more, but the core membership stays free.
- Who can join?
- Owners of independent med spas that meet the selection criteria: a strong review record, time in business, and medical grade services. Day spas and nail or lash only shops are outside the scope, and chain locations can be listed but cannot hold Founding Member status.
- How do you make money if it is free for owners?
- Vetted partners pay the club a fee or commission, and members get pricing below the partner's standard rate. We list a partner only if we would use it ourselves, and we disclose which partners pay the club.
- What happens to the information I give you?
- Your listing data is public. The profile you complete at verification is not. We never sell it, and we never pass your contact details to a partner unless you ask us to.
- Do I have to buy anything to be listed?
- No. Listing and verification are free, and your listing stays up whether or not you ever take a partner offer.
Claim your listing
If your spa is in one of our metros, it is probably already on the list. Verify that you own it and your member access opens. It costs nothing.
