The microneedling math, in plain numbers.

Skip the brochure language. Here is how owners actually evaluate microneedling as a service line: cost per treatment, margin per session, payback period on the device.

The three numbers that matter

1. Cost per treatment

Your consumable cost is essentially one sterile cartridge plus serums and prep. With wholesale cartridge pricing, consumables are a small fraction of what clients pay per session.

2. Margin per session

Microneedling sessions in most US markets retail from the low-to-mid hundreds. Session price minus consumables minus room time is gross margin; few menu services keep as much of the ticket.

3. Device payback

Divide the wholesale pen cost by your margin per session. For most practices that is a small, countable number of treatments, not months of bookings.

A worked example (illustrative, not a promise)

Say your spa charges $250 per microneedling session and books just one added session per working day. Twenty-two sessions a month at $250 is $5,500 in new monthly revenue. If consumables run in the tens of dollars per session at wholesale, the overwhelming share of that ticket is yours. A professional pen bought at wholesale typically pays for itself inside the first handful of sessions. Run the same math with your own price point; the price sheet gives you the exact input costs.

What owners should ask any supplier

Our answers to all five are on the price sheet and in writing.

Trade buyers only. Med Spa Club sells to licensed med spas, aesthetics practices, and skincare professionals. Devices are supplied for professional use; training and treatment protocols remain the responsibility of the practice.
